Re: big boobs!
Sun, June 7, 2009 - 9:45 AMI havent tried em yet, but a friend of mine told me they work.... At little trendy stores, they have these stick on bra-boob tape thingys. Thats all I've got... I've tried the chicken cutlet style stick on bras... they dont work at ALLLLLL. Bleh!
For LOW back shirts, I've tried those bras that are V's in the back and go down to your waist. They work, but i haven't been able to find one that will both hold my boobs nicely and NOT squeeze my waist so much that I have a roll under where the bra ends. Next time I remember, Im going to get the stick on bra's and try em out. I just keep forgetting. -

Re: big boobs!
Sun, June 7, 2009 - 12:39 PMIt really, really depends on what size of breast we're talking about here. There is no way in hell I could use those tape-on bra things, and I'm a 42DDD. My girlfriend is a 38D, and *maybe* she could pull it off. Maybe. And if you're looking for support, you're screwed. In reality, if you're looking for the support that a traditional bra offers, without the basic structure of a traditional bra, you're going to have a very hard time finding it. I've seen good things done with duct tape, though, which I have personally used, and know a lot of models who use it. You have to be careful with the adhesive, as many people have a sensitivity to it, including me, which is why I don't use it anymore.
I second the notion of the strapless backless bras. You get a lot of support, surprisingly enough, plus you have the advantages of being able to wear a deep neckline and deep back, with no straps. They take a bit of getting used to, though, because they're strangely uncomfortable. You do have to deal with the weird roll over at the bottom, both in the front and the back. Another alternative might be a backless or low-back corset--a real one, not a piece of lingerie. They're a bit harder to find, and they're pricey, but it would be an investment, and it would do *exactly* what you're looking for. One place to check out is timelesstrends.com. They offer low back underbust corsets, at one of the most reasonable prices I've ever seen.
Good luck. When you find something that works for you, PLEASE post it here! I'm also a large-busted woman, and there are a lot of pieces of clothing I simply can't wear, because I refuse to go without support, and I refuse to have my breasts hanging around my belly button. I feel unattractive, saggy, and frankly, for me, having it all hang out is simply physically uncomfortable. YMMV. I'd love to find a solution that doesn't involve a terrible adhesive reaction or feeling unsexy. -

Re: big boobs!
Mon, June 8, 2009 - 11:12 AMPush ups, pull ups, chin ups… pectoral "lifts", etc. These are the best things for perky boobs. Trust me… 34 and my 36DDs are perkier now than they were in high school. -

Re: big boobs!
Wed, June 10, 2009 - 1:15 PMI would suggest those bras that you can change the strap lines on. Some of them have like 32 different ways to change them. Or they come with clear straps!!
Have yet to find a strapless bra, or "stickers" that actually support. -

Wed, June 10, 2009 - 10:16 PMIf you have a sensitivity to the duct tape method, try the different forms of medical tape.
At least until this holy grail of bras is unearthed.
Good luck! -

Re: big boobs!
Sun, June 14, 2009 - 9:46 AMI'm a 38-40DD and I found the convertible strapless bras by Cacique tinyurl.com/4l2gva to be the best ones for me. Get the ones that include multiple straps and the clear straps, they rock for backless styles. -

Re: big boobs!
Sun, June 14, 2009 - 6:42 PMI am a 38F or G if I can get one. they are very uncomfortable esp in the summer but I have to use a longline strapless bra. Due to the weight that is the only thing that will work for me. I have tried other strapless bras that will work somewhat, but I have to keep excusing myself to readjust. Some times that's just not worth it. I buy mine from specialty bra shops, but here is an online site: ladygrace.com/
