Just bought this product this today. Not a bad price point at $13 or so, which most eye product buyers will tell you is below the average. I have noticeable bags under my eyes since middle school (read: 8 years) and enough discoloration that I hesitate to go out without at least a little concealer under my eyes. I decided to give this product a try, and...

LOVED IT. I've only had it for one day, only used it twice, and I already see an instant difference in discoloration. The box makes this claim, so it's good to see the product lives up to its advertisement. The skin under my eyes has brightened considerably, and the product is colorless, so it wasn't due to any inherent tint in the formula. From what I've read of reviews, it takes about a week to notice significant puffage decrease. At least two-thirds of the reviews I've read on the product found it effective, and because it's cheaper than the average eye care product, I feel it's worth the trial. It worked tremendously for me even just after a few uses, and I wanted to pass it along to those who might be looking for something similar.

Will probably comment the post in a week or so to give reviews about its anti-puff claims. Stay tuned.

Hey, guys -- I've just finished using the product for about a week and a half, and here is the final verdict:

It works really well. The color in my eyes has brightened with consistent use. I've noticed a slight receding of baggage under my eye, and am assuming that with extensive use comes more extensive results. You do have to be rather regular about it, though, and try not to miss doing it at least once a day. The package recommends the morning and evening. I noticed the best results when I moisturized first (particularly the skin right underneath the eyes, which is typically always dry), let the moisturizer absorb into the skin, then use the roller afterward.

That's my two cents. Hope the review helped!

    Best -- J.

I'd like to share that based on this post I bought this product and am VERY pleased with it! Thanks!

NOW--is there a really, really good facial primer you'd recommend? Something that will keep my makeup on and perhaps make application smoother.

Aw, yay! My little review post helped someone! By this I am much pleased. :-)

As for primers, I've tried a few. There's a Rimmel primer that's pretty good, mostly because it's got some tint to it and thus lightens up the dark areas before you even start applying foundation. It also has the benefit of being comparatively cheap. The only other facial primer I've tried was MAC, which not everyone can afford. Luckily, I don't remember the primer being terribly expensive, although I'm inclined to say it'll cost around twice as much as a Wal-Mart brand. That's just a guess. In my opinion, the MAC was better because it was thicker, and thus left a sturdier base than did the Rimmel. I've stopped using primer too much in my day-to-day routine because, in my opinion, I'm spending a fair amount of money on something I want to last a very long time. I save it mostly for performances where I really need my makeup to stick, and on any other day, just make sure I moisturize well because that often seems to make my makeup last long enough to give me *roughly* the same results with less financial investment.

Hope I helped...lemme know if you come across something great I haven't tried yet!

No problem! And please keep in mind that when I say the MAC was better, I meant a better as in "technically, it's a better product, but I don't know if it's better enough to pay twice as much." Just so you know. ;-) If it were me, I'd give the Rimmel a test run first, and if I wasn't satisfied, then spring from some MAC. Because if Rimmel doesn't work out, it was relatively little money down the drain.

              Good luck!

For a primer I LOVE Dr. Feelgood from Benefit.
It's so good for you skin and gives me that velvet smooth complexion without covering my face in goo. Most of the time I just wear it alone without foundation.

I loved the way Dr. Feelgood made my face look, but I always wondered if it would clog pores (it doesnt say anything about non-comedogenic on the packaging). I should ask the Benefit people, but has your experience been good? It is the bomb as a mattifier and optical pore minimiser.

Ive freelanced for them. It should be JUST fine on your pores. Ive never come across anyone that has had a problem with it. It seems to be one of those products that people either love or hate. I personally dont like how it feels on my skin.

For primers I use monistat anti-chafing gel (same as smashbox but cheap) or Laura Merciers primer. LOVE them both. The smashbox (and monistat) are good with silicone based foundations, water based ones can make it ball up and do weird things occasionally.

I found the monistat felt the same as the Dr. Feelgood on my face (a tad dryer, maybe), but didnt take the shine off as well. But I dont wear foundation, so I never need a primer. Thanks for the info re: the Dr. Feelgood ...maybe I will go and get some more : ).
