I recently tried my friend's shampoo/conditioner: Aveda's sap moss. But even hunting around on ebay it looks like it's ~65$ for conditioner and ~40$ for shampoo (the liter size). Anyone have any suggestions, or any comparable but cheap substitutes they like?

Re: Aveda on the cheap?
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 1:37 AMThe Aveda site has the shampoo listed at $62/litre and the conditioner at $48/litre. Amazon has it listed for $74 and $50. If eBay has it for $40 and $65, sounds like a deal already, at least on one of the shampoo. : )
I'd love to know a place to get Aveda products at a discount, too. Pretty hard to find unless you're an employee or have a freind that is.
Anyone have access to an employee discount??? <winkwinkwink>

Re: Aveda on the cheap?
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 9:36 AMno guarantee, Jessica, but if there is a Sally Beauty Supply around you try the Aura brand. They are a knock off of Aveda, but maybe you will be happy with it. -

Re: Aveda on the cheap?
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 2:31 PMYes, it's really good stuff. No, it's not worth $40-$69. Please. It's soap. Soap isn't worth that much.
That being said, i do enjoy it and i'm more than willing to give Aura a try. Thanks for the tip off! -

Re: Aura - whoops
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 3:13 PMIf you're trying to avoid laureth sulphates or propylene glycol (which is generally a god idea) I would pass on Aura
