Re: Carols Daughter
Mon, November 13, 2006 - 6:56 AMCarol's Daughter is one of my favorite companies for bath and body products. I am a huge lover of her bath oils, bath salts, body oil fragrances, and body butters. My favorite scents are Mango Melange and Jamaican Punch, but I've also tried Ecstasy, Almond Cookie and Green Tea - I like all of them except Green Tea, so far.
I give CD products as gifts all the time. My mother has fallen in love with Mango Melange and Ocean and my stepfather really loves the Groove scent.
Carol's Daughter also makes great products for natural hair - I've used her Hair Milk, Hair Balm and Hair Honey, which are fabulous. I hope you give the company a try - you'll be glad you did. -

Mon, November 13, 2006 - 8:32 PMI used to use her products. Over time, they became too heavy for my (natural) hair. I still love the way the products smell though. :) -

Tue, November 14, 2006 - 10:19 AMRandomly, Brad Pitt seems to like it :) He mentioned it in a Esquire article "15 Things I Think Everyone Should Know"
"Carol's Daughter Hair Products
For white people who might be having a little trouble with black-person hair, Carol's Daughter is a fantastic hair product. We got it for Z. Now her hair has this beautiful luster. And it smells nice, too."

Re: Carols Daughter
Sat, May 19, 2012 - 10:14 AMI have long, thin (almost stringy) caucasian blonde hair that breaks just brushing it. All hairstylists have told me to cut my hair short because it just won't grow without breakage, but I HATE having short hair, I feel like a naked animal or something... I just have to let it grow out. Anyway, I have been using Carol's Daughter Monoi repairing mask for six weeks now, leaving it in an hour at a time once a week. Breakage has slowed down so much and it really has helped my hair grow a lot longer already without it becoming stringy at the ends. Big props for this product! -

Mon, May 21, 2012 - 6:22 PMI've wondered what the differences were between caucasian hair and african hair. There's so much range on all continents. And what big differences there are in the respective hair products. I have heard success stories crossing over both ways.
